A listening, caring, professional. I've been seeing Dr. Cook for a little over four years I enjoy his light nature and and how he takes interest in his patients. I love the staff to the staff is wonderful

Dr.Cook is a good doctor but his office staff is horrible and very incompetent. I go to another doctor now because I was over his staff not so much medical staff but his billing staff every time my husband goes there it’s always more money and then refund money then turn around and say you owe money and if you are sick you pay it to see the doctor they always have issues. I went to office for 10 years and I always paid different amounts I thought was normal until I started going to another doctor same insurance and only paid copay I am done with this office.....

I've been Dr Cook's patient for 25 years. He is a nice person. However, over the past several years the quality of his service has become so abysmal that I have moved to a new doctor. Dr Cook doesn't seem to listen to me anymore and he seems to have no knowledge of my long term, well documented problems. When I've received referrals during the past 3-4 years, his office never sent the requested information to the different specialists i needed to see. This denied me essential care since the specialists wouldn't see me without that information and would not accept it from me. Calls to correct these continuous problems were ignored. It also takes a long time to get an appointment.

I have seen Dr Cook on occasion and can attest that he takes the time to listen to his patients and is caring and considerate. He determines the correct path to care and is quick to admit he has reached his limits and refers me to a specialist. Few physicians admit they have limits and we all have our limits as do physicians. I would recommend him for Family Care and will return to see him.

Dr. Cook was the doctor at the end of my mother's life. He was cold and uncaring. He did nothing to make her comfortable at the end of her life except stand at the end of her bed and talk about how she didn't have much longer to live. I was very upset with his professional manners. Certain things should not be within the patients room and discussed in the hall. I agree with others he only wants the rich patients and doesn't care for his patients. I would not recommend him to anybody.

Dr. Cook does not care for Medicare/Tricare patients. He did not provide sufficient care and basically indicated that he was not interested in being my provider. I found another doctor and would NEVER recommend him to ANYONE, not even my pet!

Dr Cook is there selective for people 'with money or high dollar insurance'. He threw me out when I became older and had only medicare, he has to pay for his new house. When all I wanted was a flu shot they scheduled it then told me when I came in that they gave my flu shot to someone else? That was mean. He also asked me when I came in if I had looked up online on the computer what my symptoms were and what might be wrong with me? I thought they did blood tests to determine that. Then he posted an ONLINE letter to me for the world to see telling me I had high blood pressure! That is patient confidentiality protected by Hippa laws but this was online for over 4 years because I never looked up this web sight. Finally we asked the web site to remove his slanderous violation and they did but they did not leave the other reviews that were negative about him. Don't be fooled, he is a bad doctor when I went to him.

I've been going to Dr. Cook as my Primary Care Physician for over four years and I'm very happy that I found him. Most doctors hurry through physical exams and office visits, Dr. Cook always takes time to go over my health problems, the medications he thinks will help and what my treatment plan will be. If I need a referral to a specialist, his nurse and staff have been helpful and patient. I would highly recommend Dr. Cook and the staff at Midwest Medical Group for any of your health needs.
