Dr. Melvin Lester Goldin, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Goldin since 1999. He is level headed and gives great advise. He is very caring and unstanding. Great doctor to have in your corner. I would recommend him highly to anyone with emotional issues.

My son has been seeing him for about 20 years. He has supported us through good and bad times. He is a calm and very thoughtful doctor that without him, my son would not be at the level he is now. My wife used to handle all of my son's needs and doctors before her passing. Dr. Goldin called and assured me that he was there and we would work the meds and his treatment out together. He has always been there to help with problems and medical needs. I highly recommend his services to anyone that needs them.

Do not waste your time or money!

I HAVE BEEN A PT FOR 10 YEARS AND FIND HIM TO BE VERY CALMING, EMPATHETIC AND VERY INTELLIGENT. I HAVE RECOMENDED HIM TO MANY FRIENDS.

Every other review is true about his rude office staff. I am still in shock and don't know how he is still operating. I thought the other reviews were exaggerating but I was just hung up on because I didn't want to give my diagnosis over the phone when I just called for a simple question about cost that had NOTHING to do with my diagnosis. The office staff lady is so rude and she is not a doctor or qualified professional. I called to ask the cost of an out of pocket visit and she told me. I then talked to her for a bit more and she asked what is my diagnosis. I said I don't feel comfortable saying that over the phone and her exact words in a rude tone were: "okay then we can just end the call have a good day" CLICK. Unbelievable! Do NOT give him your business!

Dr. Goldin has been my doctor for 15 years. He is extremely intelligent but is very busy and doesn't have much time for his patients these days.

Has always responded quickly whenever I have called with questions or had an emergency.

I was misdiagnosed for years by "dr" goldin. The office manager is RUDE, hangs up on callers and talks about patients in front of others. I do NOT recommend.

I have been seeing Dr. Goldin for over ten years for chronic, refractive depression which has required many medication changes. He has always been very kind, honest, patient provider and I attribute my improvements to his care. Also, Dr. Goldin's staff has been very responsive and helpful when I have to call between appointments. I do admit that the tone of voice that they occasionally use makes them appear unpleasant (especially when they are very busy). However, once you understand that it is not meant to be dismissive or personal, you can get past it. Note: Much of his staff is now new.

I just tried to call to make an appointment with Dr. Goldin and couldn't get past his very rude receptionist. I still am disbelief at how rude and unhelpful she was. It is sad as he came highly recommended to me. I will never call that office again!!!
