Dr. Melvin Douglas Gossman, MD

Dr Gossman will be doing my second procedure of removal of possible cancer on my lower lid. I am quite pleased with his professionalism, his explanation of procedure and the lesion he was removing. His office staff is quite welcoming, organized, and always greets me with a smile. I highly recommend Dr Gossman and his staff.

Dr. Gossman did a lower bleph surgery on me a few years ago. He took out too much fat. Because of it, my eyes look very hollow. Other doctors have told me that should not be done, to take out all the fat because hollowness will occur. When I discussed it with Dr. Gossman, he did not seem to know what I was talking about it. He said there is no such thing as leaving fat behind that you are to take it all out. He is an older doctor and does things the old way, probably needs to retire. I would seek out another doctor if you are looking for lower bleph surgery. I would seek out a plastic surgeon, which he is not.

I was asked to arrive 15 min pre-appointment, and did not see the doctor until an hour after my scheduled appointment time. The doctor gave me his pamphlet to read and then went over it with me. His staff (aside from the woman at the front desk) was rude and offensive; and Gossman seemed to only want to push me towards cosmetic surgery - for which I had no interest. Do not waste your time and money here. They do not care about patients.
