Dr. Murphy provides the kind of quality caring medical services physician I grew up with as a child. He is diligent to thoroughly evaluate your symptomology, and does not rush to diagnose. He works with you to discern lifestyle changes that will enhance your health, he doesn't just prescribe medication. He listens to how you are feeling and won't hesitate to make a referral if needed. There are few physicians who are providing this kind of care any longer; and I feel blessed to have him as my PCP. He is simply THE BEST!

One stop doctor very smart

I initially was seeing a doctor at a clinic, my annual check up consisted of a blood test and urine test then a consultation with the doctor which was very short. I felt something was missing. Dr Murphy and his staff were great they took me in completed blood test, then urine test EKG, echo cardio exam, mammogram then I saw the doctor. Everything was completed that day. Dr Murphy was very compassionate and through. I have highly recommended him to several people. Very pleased with his attention.

Dr. Murphy is the best!!! His bedside manner is impeccable. He is caring, patient, kind, and professional. He genuinely cares for all of his patients and they all love him. His staff including Dr. Melody Shaw, Dr. Connan, administrative staff and assistants are all some of the most qualified individuals in the business. I have the utmost respect for Dr. Murphy and would recommend him to anyone that's looking for a great doctor. Two Thumbs Up!!!!!!!!

I have met and work with allot of Great Doctors! However, as a practicing professional myself, I can tell you that Dr. Melvin C. Murphy stands tall as one of the best Physicians that you could ever meet. He is at the Top of his field! Dr. Murphy is the ONLY Dr. that I recommend to anyone who needs primary care; and/or hospitalization. He has taken care of me - in and out of the hospital; and I trust him with my life! I would also trust him with the life of anyone that I love - without any hesitation or reservation whatsoever. I am also a local business person, and I never regretted not becoming a Doctor until after I had been a patient of Dr. Murphy's for awhile. Dr. Murphy's caring and competence makes me wish that I was more like him. The overwhelming amount of good that he does in this community, and the direct and positive impact that he has on the lives and health of the people in our community, is both humbling and inspiring.

Dr. Murphy was very detailed in the care and Sevices he provided for me during my first visit. I left with my problem resolved, a plan for future health care, and a great deal of reassurance. His staff was great. I am very glad I have selected him for my primary care doctor. I highly recommend him.

There is no finer PC or Internist......his powers of diagnosis are legend. He is the doctor's doctor: patients fly in from other places just to see him. He remains humble, though, and does so much to lighten the financial load for those who need it.
