He apparently did I wonderful job, since I am still alive and kicking at age 79. The sad part is that I never got to see him again since my insurance went bust while I was in the hospital. However, eventually the bill was paid of in full, partially because the Attorney General's office got involved and I was paying monthly for years and it was well worth it. What a wonderful Doctor! Thank you Melvin Platt.

Dr Platt operated on me after I had seen Five other doctors who could not give me a diagnosis. He listens and takes time to explain what options are available. I feel so blessed that I found this wonderful doctor and person.

Dr. Platt has done bypass surgery of arteries in my heart twice. Both times I was active much sooner than friends who have had bypass surgeries by other doctors. There was little pain after surgery. In fact I returned to work 2 weeks after my 1st surgery. The 2nd surgery was 16 years later and I was retired. Again I was active soon after surgery.
