Dr. Seymore is the best OB/Gyn!!!! She is thorough and very personable. I love her staff and they all make you feel special.

Great doctor Great experience Great staff

I went to her once, got my tests done, but never got my report back from them. I was a candidate for surgery, and was looking for second opinion, so you can understand how inportant getting these reports were. Even after several calls, I did not get what I was looking for. I am sure it does not reflect on the doctor's ability, but it surely reflects her credibility. I would not suggest anyone to visit her.

I have been seeing Dr. Seymore for 20 years and I have been very satisfied with her. I have run into her in public several times and she always takes the time to stop and talk, ask about my kids and me, etc. My only complaint is her former staff. Most of them are gone now and the current staff is way better. As long as the doctor is attentive and knowledgeable I can tolerate an unprofessional staff. I hate that anyone has had a bad experience with her. I can say she is great with me and delivered two healthy babies, ten years apart and has cured me of some female issues. I'm now making an appt for my daughter who will have her first exam. I trust no one else with her.

At first this seems like a great place but upon further review you Will discover just how unprofessional this practice is. I have never actually been seen by my doctor and the lady that works the front desk is extremely rude and always has an attitude. The worse part of my experience came from the fact they lost very important paperwork that was required to keep my job and I gave it to the receptionist a week prior to its due date. Trust me you will want to go somewhere else.

I moved to Memphis during my second trimester and began seeing Dr. Seymore. She was kind and told me she was experienced in high risk pregnancy, which mine was. It quickly became clear she was not. I had an excellent, well respected OBGYN out of state who had taken time and much care with me. She tried to debunk his diagnosis and took me off of medication for my condition. 2 days later I was rushed to the hospital in early labor and was immediately put back on the medication. I had to stay for a week and everyone at the hospital was shocked my Dr. did not recognize my condition. Two Dr.'s at Baptist Women's Hospital told me, in around about way, to find a new Dr. I went back to her (stupidly) and she tried to take me off the medication again! She insulted the Dr.s and nurses at the hospital. (In the exact manner as the poster below.. I would put money that the poster is Dr. Seymore herself.) Thank goodness I finally smartened up and found a new doc. I have since heard HORRIBLE stories… from other Dr.'s and patients alike. Do your research before you decide to put your trust in her. There are way too many mothers and babies who have senselessly been put in harm's way under her care.

I am a physician as well. She has an excellent bedside manner. The comment from the angry payment is of course from a self-righteous, know-it-all nurse. I'm sorry you lost your baby but don't blame your circumstances on the doctor! You are all too stupid to admit that an MD just might know more than you. I hope you are never my nurse!

She came in for my doctor (she was on call). I was in preterm labor and it was inevitable that I would lose the baby. This woman was horrible. The baby was breech and she turned him (no, I did not have an epidural). When I expressed how much pain she was causing me (The nurse had already tried to tell her for me) she remarked that the baby wasn't that big and I wasn't hurting that bad. The nurse had a warmer in the room for the baby and she looked at it and asked why it was in there because we would not need it. The way she said it was so matter of fact and with no compassion. My husband, who never complains, was so infuriated that he wanted to call the medical board. Now that I am in nursing school I see just how horrible her bedside manner really was! She is awful and I would not her work on my dog!
