Dr. Menachem Weiss, MD

Menachem Weiss, MD is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained cornea specialist. He has expertise in cataract surgery, cornea transplant, and LASIK and provides general eye care with an emphasis on patient-centered communication.

After graduating from The Ohio State University, Dr. Weiss moved to Ethiopia for a year where he volunteered for an NGO, working in their medical clinics. He then obtained his medical degree with a distinction in research from the University of Rochester in New York and then completed an ophthalmology residency at the University of Texas in San Antonio. After residency, Dr. Weiss completed a fellowship at the University of Miami’s Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, consistently ranked as the best eye hospital and vision research center in the country.

Dr. Weiss is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and has authored numerous publications in peer reviewed medical journals.
