Dr. Meral Omurtag, MD

Dr. Omurtag is top notch. She is kind, caring and a great listener. She follows through wih home calls is an excellent diagnostician. I would recommend her to any family member or friend. She is what medicine is all about.

Dr. Omurtag MD is wonderful. She spends time with me, remembers me and my partner, very kind, and professional. The office area is another story. The women are rude and unfriendly. They are unkept and dont take any pride in there position in the office. If I didnt like the Dr. so much I would have swtiched.

Dr Omertag is a very caring and proficient MD. She spends time with me and I have full trust in her abilities as an MD. The office staff are also very friendly, caring and professional. As an RN I am very particular about my MD and the care I receive - I highly recommend Dr Omertag.

I called this doctor, my PCP, when I thought I may have appendicitis. I did not want to go to the ER unnecesarily, so I thought she could confirm or negate if the ER was necessary by answering a couple of questions over the phone. They she would call back within the hour. After 3 hours and several phone calls, I still hadn't heard from her. I stopped by there on my way to the ER and she was eating lunch and wouldn't come out to talk. They said they could see me in a few weeks! I understand they have a schedule, but most doctors care enough about their patients to return urgent calls. Another time, I made an appt and they failed to tell me the office had moved. The old location called to see if she would still see me if they sent me over in a shuttle. They said the MA was with a patient, but to come over and they would try. When I got there, the receptionist said, "Sorry you'll have to re-schedule." The next appt was several weeks out. It was their fault and they were still… not accommodating at all. If you want a doctor who cares, this doctor is defintely not for you.
