Dr. Meredith Ann Bean, MD

Dr. Bean is excellent. I exercise regularly and am in good shape. She took all the time needed and asked plenty of questions to help with my back and leg pain. I highly recommend her.

I am a very active 50+ ex-college athlete. I work out 5-6 days a week, play tennis, hockey, golf and cycle--all at a competitive level. A couple of years ago, my ortho discovered I had two meniscus tears and suggested I have them fixed. Under Dr. Bean's guidance, I didn't need to go through surgery and I'm back to full strength. Few docs take the time to understand your issue(s) and her level of care is unequalled IMHO. She listens to you, provides feedback and diagnosis all while telling a few jokes with a great smile. In a word, she is FANTASTIC!

She expertly diagnosed the nature of my injury, assessed fluid buildup in my knee joint with great skill, monitored my progress with careful precision, and prescribed a rehabilitation plan that allowed me to return to playing basketball. Dr. Bean provided actionable advice, always taking time to listen to my questions and to explain clearly specific rehabilitation exercises that addressed the weakness in my leg with the injured meniscus. I recommend her highly as an outstanding sports medicine physician.

Dr Bean has been an absolute pleasure to work with! I have had issues with my rotator cuff for years (sub-scap), and under her guidance it’s the best I’ve felt in years.
