Meredith A. Hawkins, MD

Dr. Meredith Hawkins is an endocrinologist who specializes in diabetes and metabolism disorders. She completed her medical education at the University of Toronto, where she also pursued her residency training. Dr. Hawkins furthered her expertise through fellowship programs at both the University of Toronto and Albert Einstein College of Medicine, providing her with comprehensive training in endocrine conditions. She is fluent in both French and English.

Dr. Hawkins practices at two locations in the Bronx, including the Montefiore Medical Group-Wakefield Ambulatory Care Center and Montefiore at AECOM. She focuses on caring for patients with Type 2 diabetes, including children and teenagers with this condition. Her practice also includes treating geriatric diabetes in older adults. She performs essential diabetes monitoring procedures such as glucose tests and A1c measurements to help patients manage their condition effectively.
