Dr. Meredith J. Selleck, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Selleck for four years. She is very friendly with an excellent bedside manner. She is thorough in her examinations. I feel well-cared for by her. I highly recommend her.

I have already been treated very well by Dr. Selleck. She is compassionate and very supportive and knowledgeable. I wouldn't use any one else

I lost my best friend to cancer who was being treated by Dr Selleck.. We were surprised because we had heard good things about her from others but right from the start Dr Selleck was very negative towards my loved one and although she never said what she thought at least that is what was reported to me. My mother who was very optimistic through out the whole process would come home very discouraged from her meetings with the dr and say that she did not feel that the dr understood her want to keep fighting for her life..Just imagine if you were not ready to give up but your doctor was??? I also must add that before she was transferred to this Dr she was given a much better prognosis from another dr who was much more positive..perhaps he just didnt know the truth??I am not blaming her but there are things that while dealing with this loss i am forced to think about everyday.. My mother had a spot on her lung that Dr S didnt feel the need to tell her about we found out from an emergency… room Dr 2 months after it was seen on an ex ray when i asked the Dr why she had not told my mother about this spot that meant possibly the cancer had in fact spread she said that that was her bad and basically admitted it was wrong but it was like o well.. sorry... Perhaps we were not meant to know as someone tried to explain on her behalf she believed that my mother was going to die from her primary tumors so why bother to tell her this little bit of information.. she was dying anyway..right??? wrong... it leaves me wondering if that was the attitude what else was not told to her what other treatment options or simply things that may have been done to improve what quality of life she might have had left...My mother was a wonderful women who was not my mother but my grandmother yes the treatments may have been much for her but she was 200 lbs when this began she was working as a care giver to the elderly she was so strong she took care of me she took in my sister and i when we were little because my biological mom could not care for us she took care of her son who was sick with diabetes and he died young at home she did the same for her husband she was an angel and she did not deserve to be discarded like trash and perhaps my grief is clouding my judgment...but the whole thing feels wrong and Dr S is a part of the wrongness that i feel every day.. so that is my review

Dr. Selleck's ability to give you information in a manner you can understand is phenominal. She seems to truley care about me as a patient.
