Dr. Meridith Maxwell Womick, MD

An exceptional experience. It was a holiday. I was feeling terrible and new to the area. Saw their positive reviews and made an appointment online. Clean,inviting waiting area and reception staff was courteous and friendly. Very minimal wait before seeing the nurse and then Dr. Womick. Overall, a well staffed, professional medical clinic that understands patients concerns. Top of my list for any future needs.

I went in for a strange spot on my face. The doctor told me it was probably "just an infection". and walked out the door. About five minutes later, her nurse came in, handed me discharge paperwork & I was directed to the front office. Only AFTER I got home did I have the chance to read the paperwork & it said I was being treated for MRSA!! NO ONE in that office told me that or explained it to me at all! Of course, I was panic stricken! I work with children in a health care field!! I had made an appointment with my PCP for the next day. I started the antibiotics as instructed, only to have my doctor tell me he could no longer confirm if that was truly MRSA! He said it should have been lanced & have a sample taken to the lab for culture confirmation!! Since that was not done...to be in the safe side, I need to be on strong antibiotics for the next 3 weeks!! It would have been nice to know for sure what I have & been told by first physician what she thought it may have been!! I… feel that visit fell short on many professional levels!!

Took time to address all my symtoms. The hours are really nice when you need a doctor.

We were pleasantly surprised on our first visit. Dr Womick was knowledgeable and accurate in her diagnosis.
