realy desearves -5 stars worst place ever!!! if there was an award for worst dr place they would win

Something changed with Dr. Turner. I have seen him over 8 yrs and used to get excellent service. In the past 2 years, there are no return calls from medical assistants for days, cant get in to see him since he is never there or over booked, poor diagnosis on complex issues, lack of caring, staff having you sign papers for labs and then saying ignore the bills when they come in??; Warner Family practice has gone through a lot of doctors who have left the practice... makes you wonder... I liked Warner Family Practice since it is a one stop place to get labs and testing done. Receptionist are always helpful and friendly but they cant make medical staff call you back or get you appts when there are no spots to put you in. After 8+ yrs of seeing it decline in care... I moved on to another doctor.

First thing out of his mouth was my medical history was not important and then when I asked a direct question he sighed and started writing notes, he never did answer a simple health question. I am very polite and was raised to have respect but...wow, He made me feel like I was a bother to his day. After getting my results, which were not so cheery, I was left floundering to help myself. Follow up was scanty. Staff was polite and office was clean

Personally, I don't understand the negative comments. Didn't sound like the Dr. Turner i know. Maybe these people have isssues with the medical establishment in general where ever they go.

These guys will ask you to sign things without telling you exactly what it is for. Then they will bill you for lab tests you never authorized or even knew about but because of something you signed, they will hold you responsible for charges. I told the doctor that I had no health insurance and yet he still sent out lab tests without my knowledge or consent. Then when I asked about it they just sent me a form I signed saying basically "too bad". One time they hung up on me because I still had questions they thought they answered. This is an institution, not a family practice.

My problem with Warner Family Practice is that when you have a question for your Dr or their assistant you don't get an answer back for days, if at all. Also I think it is so inpersonal that you have to explain to the scheduler who answers the phone your personal business.And when they get your results back you have to talk to an automated machine, and if you don't understand the message your back to square one with the no return calls. Dr Turner also talks a little above your head when he explains things to you.

I have been with Dr. Turner for about 15 years. He always ask if there is anything else he can help with. The office is run with the idea that I too have things to do in my day - they are pretty punctual.
