dr miura-akamine is always friendly, cheerful and easy to talk to. she is patient, listens to any questions and concerns. and takes time to answer and explain such concerns. she examined my knee, hip and thigh thoroughly for pain and she suggested I see a orthopedic doctor to examined my knee. she asked me if its ok to refer me and asked if I have a doctor in my, said no and she promptly referred me to the orthopedic dept. I said "wow" at last im in good hands"!!! I felt soo good to have such a great doctor. "wow"

I appreciate a doctor who listens carefully to you and doesn't beat around the bush. Also, she didn't make me jump thru the Kaiser protocol that I (with her confirmation) didn't think would work anyway for my injury. Her diagnosis was accurate and I'm glad I found her. Of course, I ALWAYS check out the ratings of doctors prior to my wife or me seeing them, as Kaiser allows you to choose who you want, even though to get the good ones can sometimes mean a longer wait.
