Dr. Merle Stanley Robboy, MD

This place is not a Blue cross provider and works at a hospital that is. I have no idea who this Dr is, but i received a bill from his office that he was the assisting surgeon during my delivery. With that being said i received numerous bills and threats of sending me to collection. I inform them several times that they were billing the wrong insurance. Once they FINALLY billed the right insurance they got paid at 100% . I still had to paid out of pocket because they overcharged, what is normally charge in that area. Unfortunately because they are not contracted with blue cross they can-do so. Is why I’m writing this review as a warning That this office / Dr does overcharge the custom charges.

Although I liked the doctor, the staff was unprofessional. I will not be back for a second visit.

The office staff was incredibly rude. A receptionist by the name of Irma was extremely short and not pleasing. Went in for a cheduled appointment and was seen a hour later after other patients who signed in after me were called back ahead of me. When asked what the issue was and if the Dr was running late I was told that the patients who signed in after me had appointments before mine that they were late for. I have never had bad service at any other doctors offices. Another patient who was sitting in the lobby commented to me that the receptionist had been rude to her on several occasions and that she would no longer schedule at this facility and that this would be her last appointment with this office dure to the lack of compassion and rude behavior from the front office staff. I agreed and will also not visit this office

The doctor was okay - just okay. The staff made it the worst doctors office experience in my life and completely depressing. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Total nightmare.

I was referred to dr. Robboy from my OB-GYN because my baby was diagnosed with downs syndrome. I saw Dr. Robboy for a DNE @ 15 weeks. This was a very difficult decision and painstaking process and I was disappointed with the care I received from Robboy. The pre-op process was very painful and Dr. robboy made light of my pain and made some inappropriate comments. This I could get past, but what really upset me about his care was that he didn't talk to my husband After surgery. My husband was worried and to not have the MD give him an update rg: my status was very unprofessional. I hope this isn't his standard of care.

I called requesting medication. The office manager, Erna has been rude and has not responded in a timely and helpful manner. Medication has been very difficult to get to my local pharmacy. I am very disappinted with the patient care.

Was unfortunatly referred to Robboy and although I'm sure he's good at what he does I did not feel comfortable with him at all. I would not recommend. He had poor bedside manner and made assumptions about the reason I was referred in the first place. I didn't even bother going back because of his attitude.

Very plesant front office and I found Dr Robboy to be a very caring person and completely interested in my questions and concerns. Expert in taking care of problems and very knowledgeable regarding my problem. I would highly recommend Dr. Robboy to all in need of a GYN.
