Dr. Merrick Jay Wetzler, MD

Lacks compassion, lacks guidance, lacks providing a plan to help the patient. Nar a goodbye but just walked out of the exam room with no regard to the patient's pain and suffering and the need of his professional help.

The most Ignorant doctor ever. Disrespectful not a nice person. As rude as anyone could be. Horrible doctor. Save yourself don't go to him. Anyone but him.

I would recommend any one to him. I was so nerves when I first went there .But the minute he walked in the room he had us laughing. He explained every thing to me. He don't rush me on anything. I am now ready for my surgery soon. You could not get a better doctor .The staff,Nurse everyone is kind & friendly.And you are taken right away.

Dr Merrick Wetzler is the best . he has helped me where no other orthopedic doctor did.He is funny,down to earth and knows his stuff Thank you Doc

First time i seen dr wetzler i was extremely nervous but dr was so good in helping relaxing me, n explaining everything he was doing which at that time was cortisone injections. I would def recommend dr wetzler.

I had a 6:15 appointment. I arrived a few minutes before 6, with my paperwork completed (as instructed when I made the appointment). I finally saw the doctor at 7 pm. He asked very few questions, barely listened to a word I said, then jumped immediately to “You should see a neurologist, it could be MS or something.” He was unable to remember the name of “the guy on 73,” but said that he was “good.” If his intention was to scare me, mission accomplished. He did have a tech perform an x ray, which did not show anything, and acknowledged that he knew I wanted answers, but he didn’t have any.

All the prior negative reviews are spot on. He is not only arrogant, but just downright rude. You’ll be lucky if he spends more than 2 minutes with you. When i was trying to explain to him where i was continually feeling pain, he walked away from me mid sentence. On top of everything, he misdiagnosed my injury causing further issues down the line.

Ive seen dr wetzler few times and hes amazing.i see him for my cortisone shots n amazdoes a great job. 1 2 3 hes done. He talks to you during the shots n next thing you no its over. His staff is also amaing. Would n have recommended dr to friends n family

Dr. Wetzler is the worst doctor I have ever seen. I have gotten a stress fracture before and was treated at another doctor with the best respect and treatment. Dr. Wetzeler did not treat us as respectable humans, much less patients. I had a severe break to one of my bones and he came and looked at the x-ray (the urgent care had taken before) for two minutes and told me to come back in two weeks. Went back a second time and he treated us with so much disrespect and claimed that he told me to be walking again even though he never said that I should. He called me stupid for the break and showed us an attitude that was not at all justified. I payed a total of $1,000 for someone to simply say that I had a broken bone and say nothing in regards to treatment. I would completely advise against this doctor, especially if you are looking to heal quickly and receive good treatment.

I experienced my first visit with Dr. Wetzler today and I was treated so kindly by his staff and by Dr. Wetzler himself. I had a xray done in the office and Dr. Wetzler went over my injury with me and was very thorough. After Dr. Wetzler went over everything he had asked me if I had any questions for him and I did and he answered my questions and made me feel comfortable. I have a follow up in a month and hope it is just as pleasant as today. I would highly recommend Dr. Wetzler great personality and seems like a wonderful caring person.
