Has the expertise knowledge but the practical hands on surgical techniques are of concern. A Nice doctor is not the same as competent doctor . I will always take the competent first. Personal experience is that job, surgery was not done properly or completely and my wife needed follow up surgery to correct issue by another specialist.

We are so lucky that we met Dr. Dayton. My son had a problem that was plaguing him for years and about 5 other doctors could not figure it out, so he went in for multiple failed surgeries with no hope in sight as the problem got worse and worse. Then we met Dr. Dayton and switched over to his care, being very impressed by his 35 years experience. Best move we ever made. After one clean up surgery he cleared up all the nagging problems and gave us our lives back. I cannot say enough good things about and his staff at the University of Utah Med Ctr. Class act all around, and so attentive and caring. We are so very grateful!! Utah is very lucky to have him back again, sorry Buffalo!

We have had multiple issues in his field of expertise and have been highly satified with his surgical skill, caring approach and general quality of Dr. Dayton's care and staff.
