Dr. Mervet Asfour, MD

I met Dr. Asfour for the first time yesterday. I have not been feeling well and don't usually go to the doctor since I have not found a doctor that I have been pleased with at this point. It started with making the appointment whereby the staff was incredibly helpful and flexible in accommodating my work schedule. Then when I got to the office, the entire staff was extremely welcoming and kind even to the point of apologizing for my wait which was only 10 minutes! When I met the Doctor she was amazing, understanding, compassionate, thorough, professional and just so easy to talk to. I was absolutely impressed by her. I have the utmost confidence that she has my best interest in mind and sincerely will do whatever it takes to get me well. As I was leaving I once again was greeted by the staff for follow up directions that were very helpful in explaining next steps to me. I could not have asked for a better experience from the time I walked into the office to the time I walked… out. Today the doctor herself called me with some results!!! Best experience EVER and I am happy to say she will be my primary doctor moving forward!

Dr. Mervet is thorough, and an excellent listener! She ran all the possible tests needed to get to the root of my problem! I never had this kind of care with other primary doctors! She followed up the next day with blood work results personally! I feel very content with her care!

Impossible to get anyone on the phone. Hold for over 30min still noone answers. Workers there inconsiderate don't return messages in timely fashion have to keep faxing them and calling them. ... Doctor asfour is great ...easy going smart. And cute. I wonder why she doesn't get out if there ASAP. I guess she really loves what she does. Helping people

Dr. Asfour is a superb doctor. She cares for her patients and knows their name. As soon as she sees you in the waiting area she knows exactly who you are. When going into the examination room she is friendly, caring and very charming.

An absolutely wonderful doctor. Caring, understanding, and respectful. Does not belittle you like many of the doctors I have been to. I've been to many doctors and each one left me disatisfied. I finally gave Dr. Asfour a shot and will not be leaving her any time soon.

It was my first visit with a doctor after years of putting my family first. She was very understanding. She listened to all my concerns and addressed each one. She is very soft spoken and made me feel relaxed during the visit. She explained all of my medical problems and used stories to help me relate. I love her and am thankful for her. She is jersey city's hidden secret.
