Dr. Mete Korkmaz, MD

Dr. Korkmaz is a waste of time! He is absolutley the worst oncologist I have ever seen. He is only about money and his bottom line. How is he a doctor. My friend was seen by him and I was there for support. He did nothing but push chemotherapy. He also defamed other physicians the entire time. I would NOT RECOMMEND HIM! RUNNNN!!

Rather than refer my mother to a different doctor that could treat her medical conditions related to the radiation he decided to tell me she was sick and nothing to be done. When pressured to tell me what he was going to do about my mother’s breast cancer he proceeded to tell me she was to sick to do surgery on and that if she died it would affect his doctor score. Basically my moms life wasn’t worth the risk. After sitting in a room and telling us basically I’m gonna let her die I got her out of there and to a real hospital where they helped her with all the conditions she got due to the radiation and chemo she had at OSF. My mother is alive and well no thanks to this human. If I hadn’t gotten her out she would have died. Any medical provider knows if it’s beyond your scope of care you refer out. CTCA in Zion, Il saved her life when he was just going to let her die. Please don’t listen to him if he has quit on you like he did my mom.

I have seen this physician on multiple occasions and I absolutely would not recommend a family member, friend or any potential new clients to utilize his services. He does not consider any comments from patients who have expressed concerns regarding some of his recommendations. The medical professional I select would view me as a team member and we work together to eliminate the medical conditions that plaque me or for which am l hospitalized. It is important that we treat each other with respect and are committed to controlling the patients pain. We have one body and it is imperative in order to lead a healthy life and possibly live past 100 years old our medical selection is very vital toward the longevity of our lives.

I love, love, love Dr. Korkmaz. He takes time with me, never rushes and explains everything throughly. He is always available and answers any questions or concerns I may have. How lucky I am to have him in my world. He's my hero......
