Dr. Methodius Gamuo Tuuli, MD

Dr. Tuuli has been taking great care of me in this pregnancy. He is compassionate and always eases my worries with words of wisdom and a little humor. I look forward to my visits because I know that I'm in good hands.

I saw Dr. Tuuli after miscarrying for the second time. The office called twice to reschedule my appointment. But we finally got in to see him, and he spent a considerable amount of time with my husband and me, discussing our history and what the plan would be going forward. He told me that the best way to determine why I kept miscarrying was to get pregnant a third time and then closely follow my hormone levels. As soon as my levels were high enough, we would do an early ultrasound. When I conceived again, the doctor only checked my HCG level to confirm pregnancy. He didn't order any other hormone levels. I was told they would call me with results, but no one called me for a full week. In the meantime, I miscarried again, and we missed our opportunity to see what my levels actually were.Dr. Tuuli has great bedside manner and seems to be very compassionate, but I felt that his follow through with the plan we discussed at my consultation was poor. I was also frustrated by the… number of times his office staff called us the day before our appointment to reschedule to a different date.
