Dr. Methusa Javinar Mejia, MD

I have taken 4 of my 5 children to this "doctor", each time progressively worse than the last. For one child she looked at an x-ray and said that we would have to do surgery without the understanding that the x-ray was prior to taking medications. Another time she diagnosed asthma by looking up one of my children's nose. The staff is horrendous and the wait is ridiculous, you wait to get to the back and then you wait another hour for the doctor in a tiny room.

Every apt she made we wait over an hour. One time I had an apt and the door was locked. They did not even call to tell me they were closer

Dr. Mejia would receive 5 stars, if she replaced the staff answering her phone. I have never been treated so poorly by a bitter staff member in a doctor's office before. It's like she has a bone to pick with every call. It really makes the business look bad. Poor staffing, great doctor.

Great staff I love talking to these girls they truly understand me.

I recently had an appointment for the first time at Dr.Mejia's and I am really satisfied. Staff is great! Friendly and proffesional. I was greeted with a friedly smile from the front girls office girls. The doctor andwered all my questions in detail. Very pleased with this office, doctor and staff! Would recommend to anyone :)

I called a couple months ago trying to make a first initial appointment. The employer who answered was not friendly, took my info and said she would return my phone call with my appt date. I never received a call back. It's unfortunate because I hear really good recommendations from Dr.Mejia.

My son had an appointment last week, he was sick and I was able to get a same day appointment but I was told Dr.Mejia was out in vacations and there was another pediatrician covering for her, at first I was a little skeptical to go in to see another doctor that does not know my child's history but I was very happy and impressed with my visit. The doctor was very nice, explained to me in detail the illness that my child had and answered all my questions. He treated my child great just the way Dr.Mejia has. The staff was great as well like always, very nice and proffecional. Would be happy to see this doctor again.
