His staff is incompetent and disrespectful. They will not help you but hang the phone on you. They will always missed something from the doctor's order. When you are scheduled for test like labs, MRI or even therapy, you need to make sure his staff did your referral or you will be just wasting your time. For you to see Dr. Zacarias, even with appointment, you have to still wait minimum of 1 hour before he can see you. He is never on time. One time, I was waiting for him to see him, after 2 hours of waiting, I was told that Dr. Zacarias left for an emergency. The clinic waiting room is so small, no room for social distancing.

I was recently admitted to Palos hospital with Dr Zakaria being the MD on my case. The whole time I was there Dr. Was very thorough and patient with me. He responded to every issue that happened and walked me through the next steps. Every test I had done he communicated the results. I was able to ask questions and he answered them in a matter that I could understand. His bed side manner was very professional and very caring. Highly recommend Dr.Zakaria!

Dr. Zakaria inherited me as a patient from Dr. J McElligott. I decided to give him a chance, and have been disappointed several times. 1. I have been made to wait at least an hour to get in to see him when I made an appointment, I left work early to make the appointment and didn't need to by the time he made it in to see me. 2. He DOES NOT FOLLOW through with his patients. I saw him Dec 2 for an issue, he prescribed a couple prescriptions, 1 of the scripts was not covered by my insurance, so when I called the office to inform them, I was told that I would have to come back in to speak with him. WHY?? He already knew my issue, all he needed to do was prescribe a different medicine. I honestly feel all he REALLY cares about is the money and not the care of the patient. 3. He is into that "new age" medicine. He has changed my daily prescriptions without talking or informing me, which came to be a problem when my insurance didn't cover the "new" one he prescribed, then I was told I… would have to come into the office to discuss this with him.. NO I WILL NOT, I made him change it back to the original, and asked that in the future, all changes be discussed with me first. I think its time I find a new doctor. I sure do miss Dr. McElligott!!!

Dr Zakaria is a patient and caring doctor. Both my husband and myself see him and are very happy.

First visit with this doctor and was very pleased! The doctor did not rush through my visit and took the time to listen to my concerns. He has a very calm, friendly manner and would definitely recommend him
