Dr. Mia Elizabeth Martin Carson

Horrible experience. Michelle Aguilar was extremely unprofessional at her job . I went in requested hospital documents and my plan that was never printed out at" initial appointment made ",she stormed out into her front office belittling me saying don't ever pull her out of a office without an appointment being made ,she also aggressively told me the hospital requested or recommended it and not her . Well it really shouldnt matter she said it was abnormal . Its been requested 2 times and still the 1st time results"doesnt count"in her words.I never requested to see her one of the nurses pulled her out about a question I had about paperwork and labs she ordered me to get. I just needed the papers and help because I was very vulnerable and she didnt do her job the first time explaining it well to me I didnt even know her name that's how bad of a doctor she is in my opinion as a patient. This was a emergency. I don't waste doctors and nurses time without a concern I have needed in… writing. Also mia carson doesn't complete referrals and medication referrals you have to call her back and remind her I can see why she requested ms. Aguilar to take of her case loads and it shows in her tone and presence . Will be getting a new doctor I know she's greatful. Dr. Aguilar also was talking about my medical records in front of another patient in the front waiting room. I HOPE SHE HAS A BETTER DAY THANKS

Dr. Carson is a true professional the waiting time in her office was extremely short she was very pleasant her staff was extremely professional pleasant at all times. Dr. Carson is and will always be my only primary position and care giver

Was this because of Medicare Fraud, Personal issues? Dr. Mia Carson was Not a Holistic Doctor. She was just Family Practice doctor that had a constant turn-over of staff and one never knew if she was going to be there for the appointment. The business in now closed and that is a good thing because people have suffered and some well came close to dying....

I usually would never rate a Doctor but I think it needs to be known that I wouldn't want anyone to put their, or their loved ones, care in her hands.

It doesn't get much better than this for care on Maui. Most Doctor offices are cold and not a nice place to visit. It's the complete opisite for Dr. Carson. It's actually a place where you feel safe and comfortable. Dr. Carson is the most knowlegable doctor on Maui. If you can get up to Makawao, you should give her a try. I won't go to any other doctor on Maui. SHE KNOWS HER STUFF.

Mia Carson is probably a good doctor, but I will never know. The appointment I had with her was cancelled, and no one every told me. Nobody could find my chart or my blood and urine tests on two succeeding visits when I asked for the results. When I complained about these two problems she insinuated I was a difficult patient and refused to see me...again? That said, her staff Trager masseuse Lora Lynn (sp?) was excellent. She relieved a lot of my pain. And I was unhappy to see that end due to Carson's petulant impatience and blame-shifting. Everyone I talked to said the same thing: good doctor, office is a mess. I guess thats as close as I will ever come to finding out what Hillary Clintons staff is like.

Dr. Carson is a very rushed physician who's practice is too big for her ability to manage. Her staff is rude, confused and unprofessional. Usually you will get shuffled off to her PA versus being able to see her. However, she is somewhat approachable in regards to 'holistic' medicine, so this is the only reason I put up with all the shenanigans of her office and the fallout of their way of doing business. There isn't another Dr. here on Maui that takes insurance that will allow you to approach anything this side of just allopathic hype for medical problems. And this is sad.

I didn't know what this whole "medical home" business was about, not until I saw Dr. Carson at Bridge Medicine. Not only did she find and treat my the cause of my pain (a problem that four other doctors couldn't diagnose), she also helped me to lose weight and get off my diabetes medicine. I've finally found MY medical home.

I found the Staff to be EXCELLENT! I found my experience to be great. The Doctor is very personable and her bed side manner is impeccable.They made me feel at home and like I mattered. I saw the PA there and she was very knowledgeable and helpful. I would recommend this office to anyone. We need more medical care like this here in Maui. Kudos to you all!
