Dr. Mia Maria Galioto, MD

Please, PLEASE, find another physician. Dr. Galioto is rude, rushed and dishonest. There's nothing like going to a professional for help and feeling worse after seeing her.

My child has been seeing this doctor for medications. Dr. G is kind of hit or miss. Some days she will ask questions and interact and some days she will flat out ignore you. She will leave you sitting in silence after you’ve asked a question like you don’t even exist. We just bear with it due to this being who our insurance will work with but I will be seeking a more professional doctor when the opportunity comes. She’s very disrespectful and shows no care or interest for her patients.

Grandaughter had an appointment today I thought it was at 2:30. We arrived around 2:20 and she had to go pee. When we came out of the restroom I asked her had she signed in, she said no. The receptionist said you better sign in in a smart way your appointment was at 2:15 because if your 10 minutes late you want be seen so at 2:26 I went to sign in and Dr refused to see Chloe. Mind you this was after waiting three months to get an appointment. There was no one else in the waiting room but us.Yes I have a call in to their main office and yes we will be changing Drs. My grandaughter has been through a lot of stress this year with lost of family members and divorce. She has been goingth o this office for years and Dr G has never seemed or been friendly.

Doctor Galioto was my psychiatrist when she practiced in Missouri. I went to her for depression, OCD and panic disorder. I never got the feeling that she really knew what she was doing, but in the condition I was in I needed help and she was the only one accepting patients. One day I arrived at her "office" (which was in her home) for my appointment...walked up to the door...and there was a note stating that she had left town!!!!! She didn't call any of her patients to let them know she was leaving. She just packed all of our records in the trunk of her car and LEFT! We had no way to get in touch with her for our records...those of us on medications were just left high and dry. Took me months to find a new doctor (out of town). I found out later from the pharmacist that they had many of her patients coming in trying to figure out what to do since they could not refill their medications. The woman is a QUACK!!!!!!!! My rating is 0...but they don't allow that so I have to give… her a 1 undeserved star.

THIS "DR." IS VERY UNCONCERNED ABOUT ANY CONCERNS THE PARENT HAS AND AS A PARENT YOUR OPINION DOES NOT INTEREST THIS DR. HOW CAN ANY ONE THINK THAT YOU CAN EVEN BE A DR. AND NOT BE IN THE ROOM WITH YOUR PATIENT.. COME ON GET REAL "DR".. OUR CHILDREN NEED A HERE AND NOE DR.!!

I just called the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and was informed that Ms. Galioto is NOT board certified.

The absolute worst Dr. experience I have ever had. The whole visit was awful and if you are looking for a Dr. to demonstrate care and consideration, keep looking.

Dr Mia is the best, she was able to get me to see the other side of my problems, she is so caring and understanding, talking to her is like talking to someone you have known forever.

She is no assistance. She does not care and only wants money. Be prepared for your wallet to be empty and your needs to not be met. I have never experienced a doctor so unprofessional. I had to report her to the Alabama State Medical Board just to get he to fix my prescription which she still did not do correctly. I am trying to secure an honest more reliable doctor and would suggest the same to all of you.
