Dr. Mia Hosaka, DO

Dr. Hosaka Has been my wife and I's Primary Care Physician for over a year. She is dismissive of our concerns, and often disbelieves or ignores issues we face. I do not feel she cares about our health, rushing through visits as quickly as possible and does not take the time to explain any diagnoses, prescriptions, or procedures, which are often ordered after a visit.

She was the best doctor I ever had. I'm so sad that she left Kaiser. She really listens, doesn't;t judge, and is focused on solutions.

I have and continue to enjoy my visits because of her attentiveness to the information from my past visits and informative nature of our discussions revolving around my health. Her explanations both at civilian and at elevated technical levels is most appreciated.

Dr Hosaka seems to have amazing overall knowledge and is very willing to listen to patients and find solutions that are beyond the standard expectations

I know she thinks she is doing the right thing and she really tries hard. However, she is unable to think outside a rigid allopathic framework to include holistic alternatives. Also she tries too hard to the point of badgering. She should learn about doing an educational process and letting the results of the education be up to her patient. I couldn’t sleep until I changed doctors.
