Dr. Mica Kaye Newman Koehn, MD

This is the worst doctor I have ever had. Flat out denies my diagnosed illnesses, and refused to change my medication when I told her they were no longer working. She told me I was too fat already and that any antidepressants would make me gain weight, and instead suggested I just check myself into a mental hospital. Have never cried so hard at an appointment. She couldn’t care less about the wellbeing of her patients.

She showed no concern for my health was not cooperative as a Doctor

Dr. Newman always takes the time to talk to me and never rushes me. She is very thorough and has an excellent bedside manner. Before I found her, I had a doctor who took all of two minutes with me and I ended up in the hospital because he downplayed my problem and told me it was not serious. Not true. I highly recommend her.

I met with her and she was very patient and kind. I had a list of questions which she took the time and answered. I felt very comfortable and looking forward to having her as my primary care doctor.

have seen both her and her husband. preferred him over her but she is quick to the point and thorough but will not prescribe anything that cannot be bought without prescription, even if you have been on the meds for years and they were being prescribed right there In her on office. so sure regular checkups and ect. for those who are not on prescriptions I would recommend but for those who are long-term pain type steer clear or you will go backwards on your pain free path.

I would not recommend her to anyone. She is rude and did not take me seriously when I complained of being short of breath. Caused my COPD to go undiagnosed for years.

I wouldnt go back to her if I was bleeding to death.

She insulted my husband, insult my parenting, told me that I should have been prepared for the hour and a half wait. She was rude, talked to me like I was a child, and was disrespectful!!!!I will never use her office again!Her nurse was very nice, though!

dr newman treated me as though i was a great bother to her. i see that others have indicated that she was rude and uncaring also. when you are sick or feel that you might be facing a longtime illness, this is the last person on earth you should want to see. a doctor should listen, take time and make you feel as though your pain counts.

No compassion, hateful disposition and curt as can be. Medical skills are lacking. She acts as if she's doing you a favor by letting you see her. No thanks.
