Dr. Micaela Aleman, MD

After contracting a life-threatening illness while in her care she spent our next office visit telling me how other drs would support her in any forthcoming legal action. Would not return to her care as her concern seemed to be for herself rather than her patient.

Dr Aleman and her staff are very attentive. Dr Aleman is very knowledgeable and will go to help you when you’re felling your worst

Dr. Aleman has been my doctor for 6yrs. She is professional and friendly. Her receptionist is exceptional. She always remembers me and always so helpful and friendly. I love visiting with her.

Dr Aleman was very nice and helpful but her secretary is not only unhelpful but seemed to go out of her way to make it more difficult then needed to be. Only untill after first visit, several tests and a month of waiting did she inform me that they refused to take my Blue Cross insurance even with the referral that she initially said I needed for further treatments. Thus making me start the process over after months of waiting. No medical treatment giving. Very dissatisfied

Approximately 4 years ago I was a patient of Dr.Aleman's for chronic cystitus. She stated she wanted to place a 4-5" tube in each ureter. Being an elderly woman looking for a non-invasive treatment wanted to find an alternative and told her "I don't think I want another surgery at my age", [Had 5 in 5 years]. She stood up handed me a business card with the name of a nephrologist and walked out. No explanation. Would not take my phone calls. My kidneys are fine no surgery needed. I do see another urologist. 2 stars for the through exam. She wanted to do an unnecessary surgery. In my book that is called being dishonest.

Dr. Aleman is a great physician and surgeon. She shows great compassion and interest in my needs/condition. I highly recommend her for Urology physician needs and also for surgery (I have had both).
