Worst decision I've ever made. Significantly reduced my quality of life. After 6 years, I'm in constant pain and discomfort as a result of this surgery. It only gets worse with time. Don't do it.

He did a double anterior hip replacement for me. It has changed my life! The pain is gone and I can do everything I want to--long walks, working out, sitting/standing for as long as I want/need. Highly recommended!

went in for a"simple" arthroscopic clean out of calcium deposits in my hip. I was told that I would be back to normal in about a month. It's been over six months and I'm in excruciating pain every day. I did not have any of this pain before I did the procedure. It is my opinion that he botched my procedure and left me much worse off than before. I've been back to see him several times since and been told that it will be fine but it is not. I can barely walk every day. Additionally I have been told by 2 other surgeons that the only way to correct my problem is now to have a full hip replacement. DO NOT USE THIS PERSON.

I had severe pain prior to surgery. Walked the night after my surgery and was pain free. Didn't need any pain meds a day after I went home. Went back to work full-time two weeks after my surgery. I feel great!

He is a little stand-offish, but I wasn't going to marry him just get my hip replaced. I said I would only let him do it if he met these conditions... and he said YES to everything. That's what I like-- a surgeon who says YES. Complete success, anterior hip replacement. Was walking after an hour and after a day walked up the 15 steps to my house. No pain, no fuss no muss. He is the best at what he does. Would trust him again. NOBODY MORE TERRIFIED THAN ME TO HAVE THE SURGERY BUT HE MADE IT EASY!!! Thank you Dr. Alexiades and HSS

Dr, Alexiades is a brilliant doctor and a kind and insightful man. He is responsive to patient concerns and an effective listener. He successfully replaced my 75 year old husband's knee and treated me for a torn labrum. I have referred many people to him, all of whom are so appreciative. I highly recommend Dr. Alexiades.
