Don't care much for the staff or the doctors. They all seem to be tired whenever we would have an appointment.

We met Dr Amster for the first time in a Baby Care Essential class he was teaching while we were pregnant with our first child. We immediately was drawn to his approach to proactive and preventative medicine. Dr Amster has been our pediatrician for the past 6 years and we LOVE him and his staff. He is a big child himself and my children feel safe and confident around him and his staff which is very important to us. They did go thru some growing pains expanding their practice and after they best nurse left (Nina), but things have gotten better again. The growing pains was never Dr Amster himself, but his staff, triage phone nurse and problems with phone system. But as I said, things have gotten back to being great. I always get a sick appointment the day I call and with a child with Asthma there has been many many middle of the night phone calls to Dr Amster which he always answers with a smile on his face. He is VERY VERY good at calming a worried parent with his confident approach.… I would recommend Warrenton Pediatrics to any parent!

A friend had recommended Warrenton Pediatrics to me about 3 years ago. I couldn't be more satisfied! Dr. Amster and the staff are absolutely amazing. I can always get in right away for appointments and the young receptionist is so pleasant along with both nurses. I've never had any problems with this office. I would highly recommened to anyone.

I have always had a wonderful experience at this practice. I have never left the office without feeling confident in what was diagnosed for my children. Dr. Amster makes sure you understand completely and even when he has a full schedule he gives me his full attention and time needed. I recently gave birth to my 3rd child and he came everyday to the hospital to do a check up! Also - If you have any concerns after hours, he is very easy to get a hold of and he never makes you feel bad for calling in the middle of the night! Great doctor all around!

Dr Amster always blew off that "paternal instinct" of mine and always became very offended when I would bring up concerns with my sons breathing. When my son turned a year old, I took him in for a sick visit because he couldn't get rid of this cough that he had had for over a week. Dr Amster told me repeatedly that there was nothing wrong with him, even after I expressed my concern for asthma since his father had severe asthma as a child. My child was clearly miserable and there was something that needed to be done. By the end of our office visit, my son was in tears (at just a year old) and even more miserable. As we walked out of the door Dr Amster proceeded to say, "the next time you come in, I'll tell you how to properly discipline your child so that he doesn't act like that". We never returned. One week later we found a new pediatrician who did indeed diagnose him with asthma and gave him a nebulizer. He had been in the middle of an extended asthma attack for 2+ weeks.

We have been seeing Dr. Amster and his associate Dr. Eisen at Warrenton Pediatrics for a little over two years. All of our experiences with them have been positive. Staff is helpful and courteous. Calls to the nurses' line are answered promptly and calls to the after hours number are answered by the doctor, not an answering service. Doctors listen to patient's concerns and spend appropriate amount of time.

I have been brining my children to Dr. Eisen for years. I have always found him to be warm, caring, and spot-on in his diagnosis and knowledge base. To the previous comment...well with a name like "Daddy_tard" I guess there's really not a whole lot to say.

We've seen Dr. Mike for two years now, and he's seen my son, and two daughters.It used to be that the Dr. was very welcoming and encouraging, took the time ask questions and show interest in our children. Dr. Mike was the only Ped Dr. that answered the phone after hours and on weekends, even meet us at 9pm one night.Since his move to the new office and getting a new Dr. (if you want to call him that) in the practice the quality has dropped to the standard that seems to fit this town (as far as Ped Dr.'s go).The blas attitude of Dr. Eisen and seemingly indifferent attitude that Dr. Mike has recently displayed have caused us to begin the search for a good Ped Dr. His office staff, with the exception of one nurse, aren't fit to work a McDonalds and really need to take a lesson in customer relations.Many of our friends go to Dr. Mike and have recently expressed the same concerns and have either left or are planning on leaving like us. I regret that we have to write this scathing review and… hope that he will find and read it and take the necessary steps to return his practice to the greatness it once was.Dump the crappy staff to include the pseudo Dr. Eisen that seem to be there only because he couldn't make it through MD training.

Overall very knowledgeable and excellent with the kids. Does very well with the teenagers, and unlike the previous posts always discussed things in depth with my teenagers.

i used to like dr.amster but then when my infant son got sick for the first time i was a mess and he treated me like an idiot which i didn't appreciate. also, the front desk staff used to be great but then they hired this girl that is not very friendly at all - i always feel like i am inconveniencing her and she would rather be somewhere else when i have to deal with her. i'm definitely looking for a new office.

The office is great, but I don't like the doctor. He is very rough with my infant and makes him cry in pain everytime he goes. Other doctors are not as rough when they do the same procedures.With my older kids, he doesn't acknowledge them or treat them with respect. He asks me questions about them, instead of asking them.
