An absolute P. O. S. human being who turned on me during C O N V O I D . I embarrassed him badly infront of his interns( about the v i r u s lie) who think he is a god. I was a patient at Penn under Dr.Burkey ( a great human) forever 20 plus years and this psycho got rid of me for talking up effective but politically banned drugs as effective drugs.

This callous, inhumane being shouldn't be allowed to practice medicine since he lacks basic human skills . I have no idea how he became the head of the department but he shouldn't be in such a position considering that he lacks total sense of comprehension when it comes to an individual's condition. He made it sound like I was "not complying" for his risky and not at all relief guaranteed solutions when ultimately I know myself the best. As a side note, I got my pain problems FROM a surgical procedure so why would I go through such a thing again?! Same with the medicines he pushed on me. I know what's right and wrong when it comes to MY body. He's just a stuckup POS.

Paralyzed my father from the waste down during his bloc procedure was not man enough to apologize or show his face after a mistake that never happens. Was completely at fault and has never happened during bloc procedures. Even worse of a person then he is a doctor.

Dr. Ashburn should not be allowed to mentor young doctors He has the compassion and empathy of an ant. He is overweight so his day of reckoning is coming..My hope is he finds doctors to help him with his level of compassion and empathy. I hope they just stare off into space when he talks, type, ignore him, and then make snide and sarcastic remarks..before sending him on his way! Just wish I could be a fly on the wall to watch it!

Dr Ashburn & Dr Bell on my second visit . Actually asked me how long I have to live . And Dr Ashburn told me I lied and did not have cancer . FYI Drs -there is no cure 4 Stage IV MBC . If scans show no evidence of New disease . It only means my cancer cells are too small to see ! Well here I am about 1/2 years latter . And guess what ? My Breast Mets are now in my liver . And on stomach lining , and thorax . And BTW because u are both smarter than me . My cancer that was in my LT vertebrae was more half gone and crushed my discs . I had my basically whole back re made By the wonderful Dr P Marcotte . I love Dr K Fox & Dr P Marcotte but Dr Bell & Dr Ashburn need to lean some bedsid Mainers . And study about Stage IV MBC . I got kicked out not for a failed iron test . But what kind of Drs ask how long I have to live ? Only God knows that . And I did not lie ! As proven by the tumors cells that were always there . Now have taken up a home in my liver ! So my suggestion is if you… go to Penn Med pain mgt or Palliative care . Get ready for them to basically.be called a liar ! Go to Drs with compassion and did their work to find out why your in pain first before they treat a terminally ill breast cancer stage IV person or any late stage cancer like poo !! ??

He kept us waiting one and half hours, didnt apologize, proceeded to stare at computer, gave doomed diagnosis and couldn't have been smugger and unconcerned. No Empathy, one star is 3 stars too high
