Dr. Assayag is a true professional in every aspect of the word! He was very caring and passionate about my surgical needs. He is very passionate about helping people genuinely. I had a rod in my femur for 10 years and had some concerns about getting it removed, Dr Assayag informed me of what he would be able to provide and how to go about getting the results we wanted. He did the surgery and it was a complete success with no complications. In addition to being an expert he is a very cool and friendly person, very positive and kind. Dr. Assayag was my physician for a broken ankle. A kind and caring physician. Every visit, he explained the options, the treatment, and answered all of my questions. He listened attentively to all my concerns. At follow-up visits, he remembered my previous concerns discussed at earlier visits. A great physician and teacher to his colleagues and residents!

I can't think of enough superlatives to describe Dr. Assayag. It's actually hard to describe in words my elation, but I can at least tell you why I feel this way. First and foremost, Dr. Assayag is one of the most personable people I've ever come across. He is genuinely interested in you as a human being, and his kindness and compassion exude from him. I actually felt that he related to me as if he were a very dear friend of mine. Every doctor should emulate his very personable manner. Additionally, his professionalism is the best I've ever had from a doctor. He takes the time to explain everything and he really listens to what you have to say. After he explains the technical reasons for his assessments and treatments, he uses easy to understand analogies to give you a thorough understanding of his treatment regimen. A wise man once said, "Genius is the ability to make the complex simple." This truly puts Dr. Assayag in the genius category. I'm retired now but have held leadership… positions my entire career. It was a pleasure to see him working with his PAs and providing the leadership and knowledge that will help them move forward in their careers. I could say a lot more, but I'll conclude by saying that Dr. Assayag gets my highest recommendation and I'd be more than happy to give further testimony about this truly superb doctor.

During a pandemic, I broke my leg. I had never broken anything in my life and I was so scared. Dr, Assayag was my surgeon and he was so kind. He took the time to make sure I knew everything that was going to be happening and let me ask any questions, even if I had to ask the same ones over and over again because I was nervous. Not only did he do an amazing job and I am healing great. He made me feel safe and calm in a very distressing time.

After undergoing 24 surgeries with other doctors, my daughter finally landed with the best. Dr. Assayag and his team are simply marvelous - caring, highly skilled, professional, and unhurried. He laid out all the issues, gave us our options, and explained the pros and cons clearly and without pushiness or bias. The entire staff are great listeners, are willing to work with your schedule, and go to bat for you no matter what comes up. And after an entire series of (occasionally awful) experiences with other surgeons, the most vivid and enduring impression is of Dr. Assayag's sincere interest in you as a person and his bone-deep and genuine kindness. He is hands-down the absolute best. My daughter is walking again after two surgeries with him, and gets to look forward to a normal life. We cannot ever thank him and his wonderful staff enough for everything they have done. This is a doctor we would travel to another country to see. HIGHLY recommended.

Over recent years, Dr. Assayag has operated on my broken ankle and wrist. Both were complicated surgeries. By my recovery, it’s apparent that he was a very effective surgeon. On follow up appointments over the past two years, he has listened to my questions, showing great patience and caring in answering and making recommendations. He has gone way above the standard call of duty in helping me. In fact, today he worked effectively on a related orthopedic issue.
