Dr. Michael Patrick Azevedo, MD

I was Dr. Azevedo's patient for a number of years and was also very disappointed when he had to leave his practice. I understand that he had personal reasons for leaving, however. However, he was a wonderful support while he was my pain specialist, helping me over a very difficult time. Even when I decided to wean off most of my medications, he supported me with that decision, and helped me along the way. I will always be grateful to him

I think it is very selfish of former patients to write a bad review because he left his practice. He relied on staff during a rapid transition period to send his goodbye letter out. I understand that change is difficult for everyone especially for patients in chronic pain who finally received great care from a caring, compassionate physician. Dr. Acevedo gave so much of himself to the detriment of his personal life. I am proud of Dr. Acevedo for putting his children before the all mighty dollar. I would recommend this physician to any and everyone. He is now working at Kaiser for those patients that would like to continue in the hands of a capable, competent and compassionate Doctor. Kaiser is lucky to have him.

Thought he was my best doctor until he left his practice without notice and no time to find a new doctor before you were suffering terrible withdrawal from opiate medication. Poor ratings due abandoning his patients without notice

Dr. Azevedo is an amazing doctor!! I have seen him for over eight years. He is caring and compassionate. I highly recommend him. He spends a lot of time with you and really listens and is very helpful.

Awsome, caring doctor who helped me 12 years ago. Will go back ASAP. He understands pain, and I am a pain management nurse practitioner! So from professional to professional he is knowlegable, and understands pain management. Able to deal with many years experience.

Usually wait for an appointment and wait at the office to see the doctor. His assistant is very nice. Opinion of the office help at the front desk--not so great. Excellent doctor and diagnostician. Excellent bed side manner. Takes into consideration all that is wrong with you; not just pain management.
