Dr Balkin is an outstanding physician. He treats his patients with the utmost respect, and has the kindest manner. He promptly replies to phone calls when issues arise. His knowledge is unparalleled in all areas of medicine. I dread the day he retires because he could never be replaced. You won’t find a finer doctor.

Dr Balkin is excellent and saved my husbands life. We've been seeing him for 20 years and while he’s older, his experience is invaluable. He reviews info before meeting patients, coordinates w other doctors, is genuinely concerned for the whole patient, and is worth every penny. Don’t be distracted by his old office, this man knows what he’s doing.

Dr Balkin is concerned with the whole patient, not just one area. His expertise covers all health issues. He speaks clearly and explains everything thoroughly. He spends a great deal of time with his patients. His office is not fancy. Who cares? He is tops!!! He calls you personally with all test results.. I have been seeing Dr Balkin for some time now, and I rely on him and his advice. He also communicates well with my other drs.i give him a score of 10 out of 10

I think that Dr. Balkin is a terrific practitioner. He is professional,thorough,caring,kind,and gentle. He follows through with your treatment and makes sure you are doing alright. Sherry, his sweet assistant, always sees to it that you are seen when you need to be.I would recommend him to everyone, provided they can pay out-of-pocket.

He's basically your regular endocrinologist. He told me things that every other dr. told me. Staff makes him out to be some kind of god, that he loves a challenge, will spend any amount of time with you. After an hour, he said time was up. His secretary was going to come in any second and yell at him! He didn't meet my challenge! Not worth the out of pocket money!

recommended by my primary doc - he's a doctors doctor. I call him House because he is a genius who approaches healthcare like no other doctor I have ever had. He is relentless in treating you as a whole person - not just his specialty. He spends 1-2 hours with you when you come in for the first visit and will call you at home multiple times with info/etc. He is 1 of a kind! Oh, and he is NICE!!!!!
