Dr. Michael Bannach, MD

A first, positive, and hopeful appt. was...tragic! I hear from my millennial, noting that she is a lead in the area of Hep C for the CDC, is adamant that it is horrible if her peers, friends, keep their phones on during time together...they should just skip the date. When I told her that I was hoping to find a family physician to get an overview of health direction, concerned about previous medical care. She was blown away by what I had to share. Dr. Brannach never looked in my eyes, face in his computer, never attempted to care or even look as though he was listening about anything, except repeating hold harmless rhetoric, with no input at all!...handing out business cards, ad nauseam! "You have headaches, well see this Neurologist, here's a card for hip pain (following four back surgeries), you have difficulty sleeping?" Handing out business cards to everyone else, and I had to ask, "what is it that YOU do?" The heck with even an inkling of establishing rapport. An… assistant took my BP, and for the first time in my life, it was elevated over 120/80, considerably over. The assistant took it three times. this is before he came into the room. I asked the "Dr." "what can this be?" (I was not nervous at all!) He opted not to even comment on that. AWFUL. And I had paid for more than that, and utterly disappointed! This office needs to advise perspective patients that this doctor slams doors in people's faces. What the heck is going on? The only decent reviews that this Dr. Brannach has evoked are three years old...is this why? Awful!

This physician never examines...just sits at computer and makes judgements just based on test results. He makes the patient feel as if hes in a hurry all the time...probably a fine doctor, though just not a good fit for me.

Feel like a member of a family, not a number. Wonderful physician who believes in taking care of the whole person, not just the symptom.
