Dr. Michael Dennis Becker, MD

Dr Becker's diagnoses have been right on the money. He does talk more than he listens and he's a little abrupt and abrasive, but his advice is good and he talks common sense. While in the waiting room I've talked with patients who didn't like him, while they praised another doctor that I happen to know was not as good, but had a much more caring manner. Your doctor knows some of the most intimate details of your life and that makes the doctor/patient relationship rather personal from the patient's point of view. Most people would rather have a doctor that lets them know they care. Dr Becker does not provide this, but if that is not among your needs, Dr Becker is a fine doctor.

Dr, Becker is a very harsh and uncaring individual who should not be practicing public healthcare. He often makes very rude and off-color comments during my visits. His diagnosis changes with each visit for the same illness. I have been seeing him for 2 years and have finally had enough. I am looking for another primary care physician. I would definitely NOT recommend him to anyone. His attitude towards his patients is very flippant. He talks way too much and does not listen at all. He would be much better suited as a talk show host! Concerns that I have mentioned to him repeatedly often go ignored for months. When he finally does acknowledge my concerns he asks why I have never mentioned it before. Time to move on.This is my opinion....Your mileage may vary.

I felt like cattle, ushered in and out. Not what I am looking for.

Dr. Becker used to an excellent, caring, and best doctor. Yes, used to be! He does not have time for his patients anymore, he double books appointments..the waiting time last time to see him when I had an appointment was over 2 hours..and dont expect him to return phone calls, because he does not do that anymore. I think he needs to change his profession, because he has obviously become burned out! After 3 days of leaving phone calls regarding results, I have decided he does not have time for me or my family....so I would definately not waste my time choosing him as a doctor.
