Dr. Michael Max Belda

This office is totally unprofessional and unethical. After recommending appointments every 3 months for my two daughters due to gum issues, appointments have consistently been difficult to get in the time frame. Today was the last straw. I had two appointments for my daughters for teeth cleaning. My first daughter came out after 5 minutes and the hygenist proceeded to give me the usual lecture about her gums being red and swollen. This time, however, even though it had been 5 months due to their incompetent booking procedures, they stated they could not clean her teeth because she was only scheduled for an "orthodontist review". It was only when I balked at the sheer illogical sequence of these events that they stated they could "squeeze in" the appointments we were there for in the first place. After 9 years we deserve better than this. I will not go back and I recommend people stay away. Also, this same office refused to treat me, stating that I needed a periodontist. I did get… evaluated by a periodontist and was told by that periodontist that he was unsure why Belda sent me there. This Dentist only wants to treat "easy" cases and his pocketbook is always in the forefront of every transaction. X rays have been overdone under the guise of "the orthodontist ordered them". I seriously doubt that because the orthodontist always seems to have to do them as well.
