HE WAS GREAT..VERY GOOD AT LISTENING AND MAKING OUR SON COMFORTABLE IN THE OFFICE..VERY KIND , TIMELY AND ACCURATE IN HIS DIAGNOSIS ....WE HAVE BEEN WITH DR BERENT SINCE OUR SONS BIRTH AND HAVE EVERY INTENTION OF REMAINING IN HIS CARE..

I could not wish for a better doctor for my son. My son, now five years, has been with with Dr. Berent since birth. Dr. Berent is wonderful!

Dr. Berent is outstanding with children. Our daughter has been going to him since birth and now she's almost 3. She has never cried or seemed apprehensive around him or his nurse, Suzie. There is something calming about his presence and I can tell she really likes him. He is her favorite and our favorite Pediatrician. Meet him and you'll understand what I'm talking about.

He is the best pediatrician we've ever used! He's so gentle, patient and kind, particularly with my 6 year old who is very scared of doctors. All three of my boys see Dr. Berent. He personally calls me with results of certain tests and communicates so well with all my kids.

Dr. Berent has been my daughter's pediatrician for the past 4 and a half years. Not only has is he very knowledgeable and takes his time to answer any question you might have, but he honestly and truly cares about his patients. When my daughter was diagnosed with leukemia, he stopped by to visit her at Rady's and kept in contact with her oncologist about how her treatment was going. He is an amazing human being and has always treated his patients with compassion beyond measure. I recommend him 100%. The office staff who work alongiside him are amazing as well and are very personable!

I give this doctor an F just because he refused to do a "Meet the Pediatrician" with us. So, we are supposed to trust the health of our baby with a doctor without being able to meet him and have a little chat with him? This is ridiculous.

Dr. Berent takes care of all 3 of my kids and he is AMAZING!!! He is so gentle and kind with the kids and always takes the time to answer our questions in a non-condescending and informative manner. We recommend him to all of our friends and they love him as well. My 4 year old says she wants to be a pediatrician just like Dr. Berent. I was actually shocked to see that he only received 3 out of 4 stars by other reviewers and the only thing I can think of is maybe those reviewers were frustrated by his rock star status. He is so popular, it can take months to book an appointment with him. I solve this issue by booking yearly check up appointments with him 3 months in advance, being flexible with the time I can come in for sick child appointments and when he doesn't have appointments available, I make an appointment with the nurse practitioner, Zoe Droske, who is also very good.
