I saw Dr. Berry regarding severe back pain that I have been experiencing for the past year. I had previously had x-rays and an MRI done with another physician. Dr. Beery was able to view the MRI and also had additional back x-rays taken at the time of my appointment. He discussed the lack of options available to me due to the severity of my condition (severe deterioration from L1 through L5). He was very honest in his view that he didn't consider surgery to be a viable option for me and I appreciated that. I also appreciated the time he took to discuss my situation and what my feelings were regarding surgery. We both agreed that surgery- for me - would not be in my best interest. It is so important to me, when talking with a doctor, to know that they are willing to listen to you, to hear your concerns, and then talk with you to find the best answer for your individual situation. Dr. Berry never made me feel that he was rushed - he made me feel that, as his patient, I deserved his… total attention. And that is what my previous doctor (who did the original x-rays and MRI) failed to do. Dr. Berry gets a well-deserved five-star rating from me.
