Dr. Michael Blotner, MD

I went to Dr. Blotner after years of infertility. Dr. Blotner believed I had Endometriosis. The only way to confirm the diagnosis was by performing a laparoscopic surgery. Though quite nervous and skeptical, I had the laparoscopic surgery and Dr. Blotner's diagnosis was correct. Dr. Blotner removed what was necessary and safe for me to move forward with my IVF journey. I was pregnant after my first round of IVF. Dr. Blotner and his staff are wonderful and blessed me with my sweet boy. I look forward to returning for round 2! I cannot thank Westchester Fertility enough!

Dr. Blotner made myself and my husband feel extra safe and comfortable about the whole process and my husband said Dr. Blotner even cared about his perspective, as a new Dad, and made sure his was well informed and confident. Not only did Dr. Blotner made everyone feel safe and comfortable, but his entire staff was amazing and made us feel great. He really provided a personal touch and genuinely cared about me and my future child to make sure we got to the finish line! Each and every staff member made me and my husband feel like part of the team! Thanks to the Blotner team and process, my daughter was able to come to the world through only one full round of IVF! Dr. Blotner and the entire nursing staff are amazing! I have a 12 week old on my lap as I type this thanks to Dr. Blotner. Throughout my experience at Westchester Fertility, I was treated as a person instead of a number, and the office was very good at communicating with both me as a patient and with each other.

My friend switched from that office (after YEARS of treatments and tons of $ and no baby) to Dr. Blotner’s office at Westchester Fertility—and two seconds later she was pregnant and had a baby girl. Dr. Blotner must have some really excellent skills and success rates bc at every visit (I went weekly for over a month for blood/ultrasound) his office was constantly packed with pregnant women! I mean everyone was there for their ultrasound! I was like wow! This is definitely the place to go to get pregnant. My friend couldn’t rave about him and his office enough—and she was right! I can’t say enough good things either! If you’re looking to get pregnant and you’d love to do so with an office and doctor who are kind, compassionate, and skilled—this is it! I wish I could have stayed with them until I delivered!

Dr Blotner is phenomenal. He is very compassionate, thorough, keeps up to date with latest scientific developments, follows up on every aspect of the treatment, has a team that is super helpful with pharmacy and insurance non-sense. I don't know how they could improve, to be honest. Please don't be fooled by other reviewers that don't get any type of sense of humor and get offended or hurt by every minor comment or gesture. At the end of the day this is the practice to go to end your infertility struggles.

Maybe if you are White or Jewish you will have better interaction with him. Hes cold insensitive and thinks hes funny. I was even scared to ask questions because hes so condescending. I think I should contact the medical board hes horrible.

This is a long over review. I went to Dr Blotner in 2017. He was not rude or pushy by any means. I read some reviews prior to coming to him and saw a few not so nice ones but decided to give him a try and I was very pleased. He even gave me some medicine free. So I do not think he is about money at all. My daughter will be 1 year next week. Thank you for everything you did for me.

The entire staff and Dr. blotner himself are great. I can’t thank them enough because of them I’m currently pregnant after 4 miscarriages. Would highly recommend him to anyone looking for help with starting their family!

Dr. Blotner was very nasty unhelpful and also accused me of attacking his staff. He recommended IUI knowing that he should have recommended IVF. We went to another fertility specialist and confirmed that suspicion. IVF would have been the best option. I wasted precious time, energy and money by going to Blotner. He made the experience very difficult and he was extremely insensitive to my specific needs. I would not ever recommend him to another couple dealing with infertility.

I was struggling to conceive for two years, a friend recommended Dr. Blotner and I did two IUI cycles which were not successful then we decided to do IVF based on length of time trying and IUIs. I am now 12 weeks pregnant and I am over the moon with Dr. Blotner and his staff! They know what they are doing! They were available throughout the entire process, always called back within minutes if I called during off hours, the staff is so knowledgeable, loving and caring, I felt like I had a family! Dr. Blotner listened to my concerns and adjusted my treatment accordingly, was always so friendly and was also great with my husband! I think if you are near westchester this is the only specialists to try! I live in Connecticut and went to him! Good luck with your treatment!
