Dr. Michael Lewis Boucher, MD

Although I’m not a patient of Dr. Boucher myself, my sister is, and I’ve seen firsthand the incredible impact he has had on her mental health journey. His support has made a world of difference, and my family and I are deeply grateful for the care he has provided. We truly need more doctors like Dr. Boucher!

JUDGEMENTAL! Would not go back to visit him. Very limited ability with talk therapy. Can validate and that's about it. Can't provide insight into your condition or life guidance. Bills insurance for talk therapy even if the total visit is 10 minutes long. Take with a grain of salt that he is more open than others to change medications but he doesn't ask any questions so you may not tolerate the new prescription that well. Not asking questions is really the crux of the thing, you need to be able to ask questions as a prescriber. Took a long to adapt to telehealth during the pandemic and used the telephone for some appointments and not all insurances cover appointments over the telephone. I chose Michael for the reviews, but in retrospect I would choose someone much older with more life experience and that can provide information about your condition that can help in guidance. Pros: does reply to your emails.

Doctor Boucher is a wonderful doctor. He has been patient with me with my work situation and personal life. He understands and is caring. He has written several necessary letters for me. I always felt welcomed in his office. Whenever I needed a sooner appointment or needed to change an appointment he would try to always accommodate me. Very responsive. By far, the most flexible doctor I have ever had.

Dr. Boucher is wonderful. He is extremely kind, friendly, knowledgable, and thorough. He is an excellent psychiatrist and I would highly recommend him to others. He's amazing!

Great doctor. Being in a difficult situation it was good to finally have a medical professional who was understanding, had empathy and took time to work the process. Sense of humor on point. Would recommend him.
