Dr. Michael Wayne Boyer, MD

Dr. Michael Boyer is an oncologist with nearly four decades of experience treating cancer patients. He earned his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine and completed his residency at Strong Memorial Hospital. Throughout his extensive 39-year career, Dr. Boyer has developed expertise in cancer diagnosis and treatment. He is fluent in Spanish and Arabic, enabling him to serve diverse patient populations.

Dr. Boyer practices at multiple locations throughout Salt Lake City, including Primary Children's Hospital, Huntsman Cancer Hospital, and University of Utah Hospital. His clinical focus includes advanced breast cancer screening techniques and specialized imaging procedures. He performs digital breast tomosynthesis and scintimammography to help detect and diagnose breast cancer in its earliest stages.
