Didn’t seem to take much time to review my issues with my bulging discs. He took more than 18 hours from the time I did my MRI to let me know that I didn’t need surgery. I had to wait the same amount of time to even get the MRI before that. That meant fasting the entire time. With knowing that, he could’ve told me much sooner that I could’ve been discharged with a game plan for pain management. He never came in to see me face-to-face to address the root issues and to see why my pain was so high or to go over his report. He made his assistant express that I pretty much wasted his time with the MRI even though I have a degenerative disease with level 10 pain when I arrived to the ER. I’ve already made an appointment with a neurosurgeon at the spinal institute that was recommended to me. Sir Michael needs to find balance in his life and retire already.. Dr. Michael, you had your time and have all of the accolades. Accept your successes and let the new kids take your field to the next… level. It’s time buddy

Does not seem to himself understand basic medical concepts such as epidemiology,

This physician spends the majority of his time in a office managerial capacity; he only periodically performs procedures to maintain his license. If you have the chance request a physician that has more hands on experience. I’ve had 13 intrathecal procedures done by other more experienced physicians that went off without a problem, when I had this Dr do the procedure he caused pain discomfort and took much longer to finish. I only found out after that he rarely preforms these procedures and only does so to keep up his reyunenra
