Dr. Michael Patrick Brown, DO

He rocks and has a good sense of humor!

Dr. Brown practices out of South Salem Urgent Care. The wait may be long but you can get on the list then run errands and go back at your time slot. He is an awesome Doctor, he spends time explaining my diagnosis and he is super funny.

When I visited Dr. Brown, he was very kind and energetic. What bothered me the most about my visit was that he did not take the time to authentically "diagnose" me before prescribing medication. Before even discussing the in's and out's of what I was experiencing, he prescribed me three (3) medications to solve my mild symptoms. One of the prescriptions was Prednisone. I was a little shocked when he immediately went right to that serious of a corticosteroid since it beats down your immune system to relieve symptoms. Even further, he didn't spend time asking questions about current illness, infections, etc. that could be potentially harmful while taking Prednisone - he just gave me the meds to deal with the problem. Overall, very nice fellow, but I have been made wary by his quick reaction judgment.
