Dr. Michael Brummitt

Went for our annual eye exam. Eye exam was a bit rushed. But just OK. Office staff sent our claims in a a medical claim after I told them not too; I told them to use our vision insurance. I told them this when we were seen and at the check out window. We were over charged by $50.00 for our copays, because they did not go through our vision insurance. Do not give them your medical insurance info when you fill out the office forms. Very rude office staff hung up on me when I called to have the situation corrected, and to receive a refund. Avoid. This may be a clip joint. No problem with the eye glasses, service was top notch, but a bit expensive.

I have received excellent care for a number of years plus my mother also was a patient. Dr. Brummitt performed cataract surgery for both of us. He is compassionate and patient and carefully explains his exams and recommendation.

Dr. Brummitt did eye surgery on both my husbands eyes and he had no problems at all with either eye. The condition he had was very serious and could have lead to blindness in both eyes. That was a number of years ago and now he and I are not far from cataract surgery and we will definitely have him do that surgery as well.
