Dr. Michael Dominic Bruno, DO

I've been suffering with health issues for almost 30 years related to an autoimmune disease. During the past 4 years I've experienced constant pain, vomiting, weight loss, hair loss, sleep deprivation, etc. to the point that I'm basically home bound. I've been "treated" by the same doctors for decades. I ended up at the emergency room at Mease Countryside 4 weeks ago and was admitted that evening. I met Dr. Bruno early the next morning. His bedside manner is unmatched. From the minute he walked in the room, he was warm, concerned, attentive and told me he WAS going to get me well. I felt comforted, heard and understood for the first time in years. In less than 24 hours of being admitted, I was in surgery. He not only took control, he brought in a Gastroenterologist and Rheumatologist to consult with me to make sure all my issues were being addressed and that they were all on the same page. He followed up with me every day and actually sat in a chair (as he did most visits)… and talked to me as long as I needed. He also gave me his personal cell number in case I had any questions or needed him. I was discharged after 15 days. I'm still recovering. He warned me that it will be a long process. I will forever be grateful to Dr. Bruno for saving my life and wish all doctors were just like him! P.S. I was admitted to the same hospital for the same thing two months prior - different doctor, kept me for 5 days and sent me home feeling the same as when I got there and continued suffering until I went back. Thank God for Dr. Bruno!

Doctor Bruno is extremely professional, compassionate, and caring with patients. We experienced him in he experienced him in a hospital visit and hes knowledge, explanations, and carrying attitude were all over the top. We would highly recommend them.

I was in the hospital for a slipped disc, which put me in immense pain. I refused opiods, so it was worse. I emded getting a steroid injection, which took a few days to work. Dr. Bruno was very thorough and kind. I could tell he trully had my best interest at heart.

Dr Bruno took the time to explain everything to me. I appreciated his truthfulness and expertise. I only wish he saw patients outside the hospital

Dr Bruno recently treated me at Mease Countryside hospital. He was great at explaining everything thoroughly and his diagnosis was followed up with all the proper tests. He sat down bedside and wasn’t hurried. Didn’t talk over me and listened to all my concerns. I was really impressed with the care I received.

Dr. Bruno was assigned to me during my stay at Mease Countryside hospital. I was being treated for passing out. After multiple tests and exams by several specialists at the hospital I was told I was fine to go home. Dr. Bruno spent quite a bit of time with me reviewing those tests and took a lot of time to listen to what happened to me the moment I passed out. He was not comfortable sending me home and requested a few more tests be performed. The new test results showed a blood clot in my lungs which was missed by all the previous tests. He ultimately saved my life and I cannot be more grateful to have had him assigned to me. I still wonder...had it been any other doctor assigned to me, would I still be here today?

Doctor Bruno was assigned to me as my Primary Doctor at Mease Countryside. Excellent bedside manner, he takes the time to listen to your concerns about medication and takes the time to build that one on one relationship with you during your time there. I would definitely recommend!!!

Dr.Bruno was my assigned Primary care doctor during an extended stay at Morton Plant Mease Countryside when I was suffering from Sepsis. He was wonderful, he took the time to explain things to me and had terrific bedside manner.
