Dr. Michael Henry Butler, MD

Went to see Dr. Butler for chest Pains and abnormal EKG. Without looking at any of my medical history or EKG he was able to tell me there's nothing wrong with me other than the fact I'm 50lbs over weight. I am also in the Army National Guard have never failed a PT test and completed a tape/bmi test a month ago which said I was below 20% body fat that he declared was inaccurate. When he said I needed to lose weight I asked him for advice because I already exercise 5-6 times a week and meal prep. His response was maybe I should try meal prep without bread and potatoes. Completely unprofessional and his malpractice and patient care should have his license stripped.

he has been a wonderful physician for me and by situation. Fairly young to have heart disease, but he has gotten to the bottom of it quickly. i have full trust and confidence in him and his abilities! He and his staff are very patient and professional as well as courteous. Highly recommend him!

Dr. Butler is willing to make sure you understand your condition and how he proposes to treat it. No fluff or wasted time but will not rush you. He will draw diagrams and share research to show you where you are at, but pulls no punches. My kind of physician.

Dr. Butler has always spent the time ("pondering") over my unusual heart condition. He always hit the mark and has helped me greatly. All of the other staff is quite good too.

Greets patient warmly.Takes the time to review past notes. Inquires about any new symptoms or concerns. Listens to any suggestions or observations on my part. Answers questions truthfully and to the point. Allows me to see other MD's at Mayo and works well coordinating information and test results. Always seems willing to listen to others. I have no complaints. If an emergency arises, he takes control and adapts well to getting the problem solved in a timely manner, which has happened to me a few times.
