Dr. Michael Callahan is a native of Franklin County. He graduated from the Franklin County High School in 1979, and received his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia in 1984. After receiving his DMD degree from the Medical College of Georgia in 1990 he completed a GPR residency in hospital dentistry at the Medical College.
He is a current member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation and is trained in Invisalign orthodontics, Lumineers, Cosmetic Restorations, Laser and Implant dentistry.
Dr. Callahan has over 15 years of experience in advanced comprehensive dentistry and training and currently ranks as a clinical instructor at the Medical College.
He is also a member of the Franklin county Chamber of Commerce and serves as vice president of Leadership Franklin and is excited about the future of Franklin County.
Dr. Callahan is married to the former Libby Owen of Eastanolle. Libby is a wonderful …homemaker and enjoys collecting I Love Lucy collectables. They enjoy traveling and time together with their 5 grandchildren.
