Dr. Carpenter grew up happily in Henry County and plans to happily grow old here, too  - Which is why he came back to the area after graduating Magna Cum Laude (third in his class!) from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 1996. In 1998, he purchased a Napoleon practice to serve his neighbors and friends in Henry County and all over Northwest Ohio.
Passionate about providing excellent dental care, Dr. Carpenter decided to offer his patients more than general dentistry. He wanted to help build their confidence, address serious health issues, and ease their dental anxiety.  By offering cosmetic, implant, sedation and neuromuscular dentistry, he knew he could drastically improve his patients' lives.
Dr. Carpenter understood the right education was essential to providing this type of advanced care. He looked at several post-graduate training facilities and found the world-renowned Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI) provided …exceptional education in cosmetic and neuromuscular care. To date, Dr. Carpenter has successfully completed the majority of LVI's curriculum and attends over 100 hours of continuing education a year - five times the state requirement.

Outside of enjoying the company of his patients and staff, Dr. Carpenter enjoys time with his wife, Janette, and their four children.  He also enjoys reading, traveling, and running - having run 15 marathons, including six Boston Marathons.
