Dr. Michael Lee Carr, MD

I saw Dr. Carr in the Dunedin, FL office last month (01/2026). He was covering (I believe) for either Dr. Amber Stevens or ARNP Angela Smart. Not knowing me, Dr. Carr took the time to listen and immediately act on my current health concerns. Hip and leg pain, neuropathy symptoms and overdue colonoscopy. He was proactive on all the above. Dr. Carr is very concerned, personable, knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend Dr. Carr.

Dr Carr conducted a thorough medical history interview. He ordered testing necessary to establish an accurate medical baseline (in stark contrast to my previous physician ). He show knowledge, compassion and provided information I needed. The front desk staff could be a bit more proactive. The office space is very nice and gives a professional feeling.

If you love your family do not let them go to Dr.Carr. This man is horrible, unprofessional and only cares about himself. He told my 75 year old mother to drive almost 2 hours away to a hospital he prefers after telling her that she could die from an infection. He said he called the ER and told them she was coming. She then sat in that waiting room for 4 hours with no food and nobody allowed in with her. After expressing my displeasure with him and the situation through text because he didn’t answer my dads calls, he had the nerve to forward the texts to my mother while she was in the hospital just to upset her even more. Seriously who does that? The good news is we have screen shots of everything.

Very thorough. Concerned about my health. Not rushed to get you in and out, takes the necessary time that you need for every appointment.

Excellent doctor only complaint is he should suround himself with better office staff.
