Dr. Michael Wang Cheng, MD

Dr. Cheng is by far the best Doctor they have. He has a wonderful bedside manner and is always smiling. I hate leaving poor reviews, but the other physicians lack that positive bedside manner. While getting my endoscopy yesterday, I was having an anxiety attack and generally I am given Ativan before procedures. (It's a disorder that one cannot control.) One of the people there told me that I would be able to have a shot of this as I wait on the gurney. Had I known that they don't offer this, I would've taken my anxiety medication prior. The worst part was when one of the older nurses literally told me that I "Need to get a life"! I was beside myself in shock because she based her opinion on my disability. I just had two hip replacements and I am unable to work due to a painful bone disease. I was so anxious that I didn't say anything, except for me trying to explain myself, which I shouldn't have to do! Rude. As I mentioned, the rest of the physicians aren't friendly at all. I was… hospitalized once for a stomach ulcer and malnutrition (I lost 30 lb because I couldn't eat.) I was admitted, then after seeing two of the physicians, I was discharged after 8 hours. I'm not one to enjoy a hospital stay, but I needed further care. (Perhaps nutrition distributed via IV) I went home and struggled immensely, with fear because if I got up, I would stumble around and I fainted twice. If it weren't for Dr. Cheng, I would be seeking care elsewhere.

This was my first visit and Dr. Cheng was excellent. Spent time with me to get the proper diagnosis. Requested testing no other doctor's did. Still awaiting results, but I have a good feeling Dr. Cheng will hit it right on the head.
